Kuala Lumpur Day 2

Random temple we wandered into

Resting at the train station

Petronas Tower

Unfortunately, Day 2 was a very lazy day for us. We were very lethargic and only managed to visit a few places. One good thing however, was that we walked aimlessly and wandered into a beautiful Hindu temple. There, we witnessed for the first time, a traditional Indian wedding. It left a deep impression in us.

We also met two backpackers outside our guesthouse, Central Lodge. They were Xaviery/Savioury/Savory (I really don't know how to spell his name) from Finland. Before we left for Butterworth, we met Nadia from Germany, a very sweet and nice lady.

Beautiful view from the train

We reached Butterworth!

The train ride to Butterworth was COLD. Like, very very COLD. A little incident happened, where my bottle dropped off onto the train tracks. Next thing I knew, Simon was running out of the train, dived under the train tracks and retrieved my bottle. He returned in one piece, thank god!
