Cambodia: Phnom Penh

Hello again!

I am now in Cambodia with my sister. We initially wanted to travel through Cambodia into Vietnam. From Ho Chi Minh City all the way up to Danang then to Hanoi. Then from there, we'd cross the border into Laos and visit Vientiane and finally end our journey in Bangkok, Thailand.

However, as fate has it, murphy's law seems to be up to it's mischief: I got an email telling me to return to school to continue my term on 30 September. Hence my trip has been cut short and my sister and I will be confining our trip to just Cambodia.

Buzzkill aside, we made it to Phnom Penh in our piece and immediately made new friends from our dorm room. They are Rachel and Sally from the Uk. We were all strangers in the beginning but became real great traveling companions by the end of the day. We also became friends with Ambre from Belgium and Mariana from Mexico.

I blogged this on our bus towards Siem Reap and I promise to update soon, with video logs if I have the time to edit them.
