Qupid's Foothold

Qupid's Foothold

After my best friend Rachael introduced me to Qupid, I quickly became overly excited and that got me to started on a major Google Spree. I finally got to Polyvore and selected 4 shoes that fit my current mood.
Lots of studs and nude and number 2 just makes me happy and I obviously got carried away with the background effects.
I watched "The Devil Wears Prada" for the millionth time and my leg doesn't feel that bad anymore!

Cheers!

SUniG Closing Ceremony Performance

Finally here's the performance I did for SUniG!
My part starts at 4.30
This was my very first performance and I was EXTREMELY nervous, but I think I did pretty okay.

Bandaged

I didn't even realise I sprained my ankle until Monday morning when my leg was swelling up and it hurt when I twitched. It still hurts, but at least it's bound up tightly, with all the hideous swelling hidden from the world. Now I have to wait forever before I can even wear proper shoes.
*wails*
Maybe I can make bandage a new fashion trend. No? Oh bollocks! :(

Legging saves the day

Top: Gift from brother
Hosiery: Pantyhose from Korea
Legs: Vintage Leg-Warmers

I threw this on to for rehearsals at USS since it consisted of only a shirt and leggings, with leg warmers pulled over a pair of boots for good measure. I must be a genius to have worn leggings out as the zipper to my costume spoilt and I had to make do with just a long tank top.
Moral of the story: LEGGINGS SAVES THE DAY

Cher Lloyd for Panda's Rock Out

Top: Olivia Off-Shoulder Shirt
Hosiery: Black Leggings from Korea
Boots: Black Fur-lined Boots from Korea
Lips: No.4 MLFL by MOSIAC

YUP!
I dragged Toby and my sister Cindy to Wavehouse,Sentosa for Panda's Night out because Cher Lloyd was going to perform in Singapore, FOR FREE! The dress code was [BLACK AND WHITE] and this was the most comfortable "concert wear" I could come up with. It was a night filled with queueing and anticipation, sitting on some random mattress, completely ignoring [The Great Spy Experiment] and gazing out into the ocean, being asked to keep our chips because "no outside food is allowed" and vaguely commenting:

"Oh The Great Spy Experiment is not bad actually!"
"Juliet Simms is pretty good live"
"That's a really nice earring!"
"She's perspiring like mad, and her ears are obviously dying" *points at Juliet's red ear lobes*
"I think…she just went out of tune."
"OMG IT'S CHER LLOYD!"

I managed to have an awesome workout while videoing Cher when I came to my sense after the first two songs. I can't claim to be a huge fan, but the feeling of hearing an artist you like LIVE is absolutely amazing and blissful. Considering Toby got to chill out on the seaside bench while Cindy experienced her very first live concert, I think the night was perfect.

*Pst*: I will upload my "shaky videos" of Cher Lloyd's performances on my personal blog

Trench-ed

Coat: Vintage Trench
Skirt: Vintage Pencil Skirt
Top: Bysi Lace Blouse
Shoes: Vintage Mary-Jane Pumps
Bag: Vintage Coach Bag

I really wish I could have taken a better picture! Toby's lending me his DSLR so pictures should look better next time!
Attended a History Lecture with my best friend today and we made a new friend, Yang! I think the lecturer didn't like my very frank question but I couldn't care less. Overall, the night was really fun, with our new friend driving us to dinner at Robertson Quay and having supper at Boomerang.
Now I'm certain that I'm completely bankrupt but I enjoyed the night, so I'll be very skinny once my allowance gets banked in next month.
Win-Win situation, no?
Hah!

Hosiery and Straw

Cut-out printed tank from flea market, Ripped denim from Korea, Random black pantyhose,
Boots from Korea, Vintage Straw Bag, H&M Suede jacket.

Considering my extremely tiring and hasty schedule today, I managed to throw on something acceptable for a movie today. "The Words" is really not fantastic but it has its moments which I appreciate, especially since it's a movie about being an author. I like authors; I think they're very intelligent and suave. Well, in my imagination they are!
I'm sorry for the blurry photos…we either blame my phone camera or the photographer.
It's most likely the latter...

Hats, Bags and Porters

LOUIS VUITTON 2012/2013 Fall/Winter Collection

My favourite show so far: Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter Collection. Marc Jacob is an absolute genius! Every single model is wearing a unique and exotic hat and the fashion show was completely mind-blowing! I love how the aloofness of the models were accentuated by their very own personal Porters who look very professional carrying LV's signature designer bags and luggages.
Simple Stunning!

I think the beginning where a real train drives in is enough to put you on the edge of your seats. Watch it and be in awe; I've watched this so many times already but I'm going to watch it again!

Singing Bohemian Style

Olivia tube jumpsuit, Vintage belt, Diva woven earrings,
Vintage wooden bangles and turtle shell bangle, Booties from Korea

For the Singapore University Games 2012 Closing Ceremony, I was invited to perform a solo song. I choose to sing Robyn's "Dancing on my own" and I was a complete wreck of nervousness that day!
My legs were shaking during rehearsals and I was such a log during performance.  *embarrassing*
Fortunately, I managed to deliver a satisfying performance in front of almost a thousand people and I'm really proud of myself!
I think what I loved most was that day was being able to rock my heels for 9 hours straight!

*wink*

Checked Dress with Pleated Skirt

I browsed through ASOS's dresses and fell completely in love with this Karen Millen Checked Dress with Pleated Skirt. The detailing and that cut that gives a little peek of cleavage; so feisty! Such a gorgeous and beautiful piece to add to the wardrobe.
Too bad the dress doesn't like me as much: It's priced at SGD$352.27
*sighs longingly*
