If you discount the horrendous bad sun burns, the overpriced food and drinks and the disgusting toilets, Laneway was a totally blast! We fought our way into the crowd when our favourite artists came up and chilled at the back of the meadow on a poncho. The experience of watching Kimbra live is unforgettable, especially so when Settle Down came up with a Daft punk remix! Chilling at the back had its perks: We discovered that Nicholas Jar and Alt-J make mind-blowing music. Time to check them out!
