Night Safari

I can't believe I haven't posted for soooo long. This time, I only get to because I'm sick and I haven't been going to school. I've had a pretty serious case of Viral Conjunctivitis (no thanks to whoever it was that spread it!!). It's a royal pain in the posterior and even though the red is mostly cleared from both my eyes, they are still poofy and pain. 

*Grunts*

Yep. I stole this from his Instagram. 

Simon surprised me today by bringing me to the Night Safari and it was AWESOME! He initially went to apply for a job position for his school break but he decided that we might as well go in. That cheeky fella managed to hold on to the suspense until the taxi driver revealed that we were going to Night Safari. Even then, I didn't feel quite as elated until Simon whipped out his card and smoothly said, 

"Why don't you save us some time and go get us 2 tickets for the Night Safari?"

I bet he didn't notice my little dance of joy and a whole symphony of squeals, heh! The trail walks were a ball and we saw some pretty awesome looking animals like a gigantic bird that none of us seemed to have remember to take a photo of. It's as big as me. O.O

The Night show wasn't as exciting as it used to be when I was 6 but the tram ride was very romantic and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. 

Also: 

Elephants are SUPPOSED to be much bigger than that! Asian Lions look so pathetical small beside the African Lions. Damn is that a Hippo?! IT'S FUCKING GINORMOUS! I cannot CANNOT stand the Australian accent (definitely not authentic) of the tram guide.
